Being near water can improve your health
Hey y’all.
I return this week after a week off in Yellowstone, what an incredible place. Apologies for the lateness in this email today.
A little update from the team. The amazing Igor has worked out the last of the bugs and we are in the final stages of testing. This means we will soon be releasing our platform to the pubic which is very exciting for us.
John is working hard to finalize the Multiple Sclerosis program we have been working on and we have heard your call out for developing a more robust pickle ball program. These programs may not be with us upon launch of our membership but just know they are in the works and will be released as soon as they are ready.
Summer, as always, has been a challenge to navigate with all of the vacations and time off us Canadians take in order to squeeze in as much as possible into our two months of summer 😜
We will return to normal next week with an original Seven Minute Morning but this week let’s go back to an oldie but a goodie with a perfect way to start your day.
This Week’s Seven Minute Morning
A little throwback this week
Three cool things that will help your health
Maybe heading to the beach is not your thing. A great hobby to try could be fishing! You get outside, enjoy the water and nature, and the challenge of landing a fish. Check it out here.
Oh, wait…maybe heading to the beach, and the seashore, in particular, IS a great idea. I know it is a favorite place of mine, as I grew up near the ocean on the Washington Coast. Research shows how powerful the effects of the seashore and waves can be!
I will say, “If it is blue, it is good for you”. Spending time near a lake, or body of water has powerful effects on the body. I know this to be true as I spend much of the summer swimming at my favorite beach on Okanagan Lake in BC, Canada. When there, I notice many others enjoying the lake; sitting in chars in the shade, paddle boarding, floating, playing in the sand, etc. Find some water and enjoy!
From the world of health and wellness
Is massage therapy a good choice for you? If you have not tried massage, I highly recommend it. I have been offering massage for 30 years, and my piece of wisdom to share with you is this; experiment! Try some different types of massage, various individuals, and even different types at different times. Basically, know what you want and like and seek those individuals who can provide it in a way that suits you. You deserve it!
Another option is Self Massage. I know John is a fan of getting our hands on our bodies. There is so much benefit from simply that act of physically connecting with ourselves with an intention to help and support our bodies. Give it a try!
Catch you next week for more awesomeness! 🎉
