Getting stronger, building resilience
Holy Moly we are getting close! John and I want to take a moment to thank all of you for sticking with us as we put the finishing touches on the Seven Movements Platform. Igor has been doing some final testing and we have been getting all of the programming loaded onto the platform this week.
We are only a week or two away from bringing this project to life after 3 long years of research, development, stress, and unwavering commitment to creating something that will make an impact. I am so proud of the team for sticking with it as we navigate all of the challenges that come along with a bootstrapped start-up.
This week, our ask is simple, if you know one person who can benefit from this newsletter please forward it to them. It would mean the world to us.
This Week’s Seven Minute Morning
Let’s get stronger this week!
Three cool things that will help your health
Well…they say doing less can lead to doing more! Hey, this could be a great time to embrace this trend. Do less this summer! Have more time for yourself, your health and happiness. Do it!.., wait, DON’T do it!
Everybody Dance Now! Dancing has always been a favorite of mine. I have taken some adult dance classes over the years, and it reinforced (from some encouragement by the dance teachers), that EVERYONE can dance, anytime, anywhere. I still move freely whenever I can (some good tunes help!)
Fruit Season is upon us. A perfect time to seek out your local best fruits (and vegetables!). When you eat those local fruits and berries you are optimizing the health benefits contained within them. Feel free to explore other choices too, from beyond your area!

Quick to get out the door on these summer days!
Time Under Tension or TUT is a great variation on strength training. Maybe not every time, but it is great to mix things up in your resistance/strength training. Whether you are a beginner, or Arnold!
There are some simple tips and practices in this article. Give it a try; slow down, and breathe, and commit to the form of the exercise.
Plumb Line! I realize it sounds like my bullet from above about eating local fruits! While that is true, I am actually mentioning alignment of the body, the joints in particular. Take a look at this simple video, get a sense of it, and begin to experiment with finding and feeling plumbline, or lack thereof! For me, I often find I lean out to one hip, or my shoulder is rounded. Noticing plumbline is a great start to correcting posture issues.
