Canada Day Eh
Happy Canada Day everyone! And Happy 4th of July to all of our American friends this week.
The team got a much needed break this weekend as we harness some energy for one last push to the finish line. Last week we discovered a couple of small issues that we wanted to clean up before launching. We want to thank all of you for sticking with us and remaining patient as we get this right.
Last week, we also kicked off our Parkinson’s study, and John and the team have been hard at work filming for our MS program. Very excited to be able to include these programs in our membership moving forward.

Canada Day Cardio Eh!
Three cool things that will help your health
Barefootin! I was walking Winston, my dog, the other morning and saw a lovely woman out walking through the park with her shoes off on the grass. In my jovial way I advised her to watch for ‘land mines’- (dog poop not cleaned up by the owner!) She was appreciative and mentioned she was practicing ‘grounding’. An excellent idea for all of us, especially in the summer, is to get our shoes off, get on the earth, let the soles of our feet get a massage, and many other benefits!
Not to be a buzzkill around swimming, as I am an avid swimmer in the lake here in Kelowna, BC. I have always swum in fresh water during the summer months, and some pools other times. I have learned the hard way to wear goggles, always. Otherwise, I do have a reaction at times. It makes sense to wear eye protection.
It’s time to warm up those vocal chords, and belt out your national anthem, whether above or below the 49th. Singing has SO many benefits, and I am here to say there are no bad singers! Bring it!
Ohhhh say can you see…
From the world of health and wellness
Dr. Mike Evans walks us through information around low back pain. For most of us adults, we have had, do have, or will have low back pain at some point in our lives. Dr. Evans does his usual excellent job of showing us the current thinking and best practices.
